This is the home page for the J.R. Ritman Library (Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica) in Amsterdam. The library houses a collection of materials relating to the Hermetic-Christian tradition. Topics covered include: alchemy; mysticism; Rosicrucianism; and Hermetic philosophy. The site provides information about its collections, as well as access to its virtual exhibitions. It is not possible to search the catalogue of the library's holdings, however. The site does provide links to articles and publications on subjects relating to the Hermetic tradition. There is also information about symposia and conferences both at the library and elsewhere.
